We had a Micronesian feast for dinner. We had marinated grilled chicken and rice, noodles, taro and plantain curry, and mashed sweet potatoes cooked in coconut milk.

We tried to make electricity using nickels, foil, and salted vinegar soaked paper towels. It didn’t work at all. It was one of the few failed experiments of the year.
We played with static electricity.
The staticy balloon attracted the strings.

The boys gave oral reports on Faraday, Ohm, and Volta.
We made a little current by putting penny and a quarter in a lemon. When we licked it, it stung our tongues just a little.
