Every year the city of San Antonio shuts down for Fiesta. It’s to honor the memories of the heroes of the Battles of the Alamo and San Jacinto, but mostly is just a big city-wide party.

The kindergartners had to make floats to pull in the school parade. They got two weeks off homework to make their floats. This of course meant we made Mayci’s the night before it was due.
