Fritz and Adrian’s Second Quarter Grades

The second quarter was a lot of staying on top of Adrian to clear up his zeroes and get things turned in. It’s something he’s struggled with the whole time he’s been in school. In the end, he did really well and is quite pleased with his grades.

Our school district allows high school kids to exempt up to three midterms every December. Whether they can exempt depends on grades and absences/tardies. They cannot exempt AP course midterms no matter what.

Spanish II – 91% quarter / midterm exempt / 91% semester

Fritz and Adrian have completed their first quarter of 11th and 9th grades at their very challenging magnet school. It was a lot of work and they both did quite well. Fritz even won the Kindness award (nominated by his English teacher).

Fritz’s Last Day of Tenth Grade

Fritz finished tenth grade on Monday. He finished the year really well. He did amazing in chemistry and Spanish II (all done his foreign language requirement!). His favorite class this year (and the one he says he learned the most in) was world history.

He says it was hot standing in the corner getting his picture taken. It’s ninety degrees after all.

Now on to his junior year for the first time in person since second grade! He’s pretty excited about how challenging DATA is and all the computer classes he gets to take.
