In his 3D Modeling and Animation class, Fritz took the test for his very first certification. He passed so he is now an Adobe Certified Professional!
Fritz and Adrian have completed their first quarter of 11th and 9th grades at their very challenging magnet school. It was a lot of work and they both did quite well. Fritz even won the Kindness award (nominated by his English teacher).

Because of how DATA is set up Fritz and Adrian had the potential to be in two classes together. When we got their schedules we discovered they share both of those classes (physics and computer science). Adrian is much more excited about this than Fritz.
Fritz is an amazing big brother to his seven younger brothers and sister. But he’s got an extra special bond with Noah. This has been apparent since very early on.
When Fritz and Noah have been apart during the day, they both are thrilled when they get back together. Noah comes over and hugs Fritz’s leg looking up at his big brother with those heart eyes of his.
Noah’s favorite place is in Fritz’s arms. It’s going to be hard on both of them next school year since Fritz will be gone to school ten hours a day instead of being home doing virtual school like he has the last two years.
Adrian has absolutely loved these past two years in middle school. He has grown and matured and learned so much. He was quite sad when he got home Friday because his final year there has come to an end.
He did amazing his last quarter of middle school, especially since he was so far behind just two months ago (a lot of work and an increase in his medication dosage helped get him back on track).

In 10 1/2 weeks Adrian will begin high school at DATA (computer science pathway of course… just look at that computer science grade this quarter) and iCSI. Before then, though, he’ll be taking a couple weeks of camps at Code Ninjas and will be teaching some of his little siblings how to play Minecraft and maybe Roblox and working with his father to prepare more for his IT Fundamentals certification test he’ll be taking next year.
Fritz finished tenth grade on Monday. He finished the year really well. He did amazing in chemistry and Spanish II (all done his foreign language requirement!). His favorite class this year (and the one he says he learned the most in) was world history.
Chemistry A (92%)
English II B (85%)
Geometry B (86%)
Personal Finance A (97%)
Principles of Business, Marketing, and Finance B (84%)
Spanish 2 A (94%)
World History A (95%)
Now on to his junior year for the first time in person since second grade! He’s pretty excited about how challenging DATA is and all the computer classes he gets to take.
Fritz and Adrian will be going to DATA, a magnet school, next year. They got to go meet with the counselor a few weeks ago and pick out their classes.
Adrian will be doing the computer science pathway. He’ll be taking honors English I combined with AP Human Geography, honors Geometry, honors Physics I, honors Spanish II, and honors Computer Science I. He’ll also be going to iCSI, a two period a day cybersecurity magnet. He’ll need to take PE and maybe art in summer school at some point to be able to fit everything in.
Fritz will be doing the video game design pathway. He’s taking AP English III, honors Algebra II, honors Physics I, AP US History, video game design, 3D modeling and animation, and honors Computer Science I. This means the boys have the potential to be in two classes together. Also, Fritz’s video game design teacher is Mr. Fritz which is kind of awesome.
